Description
CicLAvia is seeking both individuals and groups to volunteer at CicLAvia–Leimert Park meets Expo Park on Sunday, June 28. CicLAvia produces a temporary car-free day that transforms streets into safe spaces for thousands of people to explore the city by foot, bike, and other forms of transport. This event will connect these communities via 3.6 miles of open streets.
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
- Help with way-finding, slow zones and dismount areas
- Provide participants with route and activity information
- Sign people up for the CicLAvia mailing list and conduct our Open Streets survey
- Assist with hub setup, breakdown, and maintenance
- Groups: Stop or slow down participants at car crossing intersections and slow zones
Requirements
- Minimum volunteer age is 14.
- Volunteer shift is outdoors, rain or shine.
- Volunteers may be required to stand or walk for the duration of their shift.

- 8:30am-11:30am
- 11:00am-2:00pm
- 1:30pm-4:30pm
