    Description

Make a lasting impact on families navigating a blood cancer diagnosis by volunteering with The Blood Cancer Foundation of Michigan. We are seeking compassionate volunteers with a background in social work or a related field to work directly with our Patient Support team, assisting adult and pediatric patients in Michigan. Volunteers will offer supportive check in calls, ensuring patients are connected to the resources and program assistance they need. Gain hands on experience in nonprofit service while supporting our Patient Support team through patient outreach and behind the scenes administrative support. All training will be provided. To best support our families, we are looking for volunteers with availability 2 hours a week, Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. This is an in-person role at our Farmington Hills office.
