    Help Hospice Patients Virtually Travel the World- VR Volunteers Needed!

    Elara Caring Hospice, one of the nation’s leading providers in home-based care, is looking for compassionate volunteers willing to donate their time to provide exceptional end-of-life care to local hospice patients and their families.

    Volunteers are needed to help patients enjoy our virtual reality systems. With a simple VR headset and a volunteer guide, patients can explore Paris, enjoy a Broadway performance, relax on a beach, enjoy a sunset and more... without ever leaving their favorite chair. Patients can revisit places they’ve been before or finally “visit” a place they’ve always wanted to go. Virtual adventures can open the door to storytelling, reminiscing and connection with family and friends.

    Training will be provided. Hours are flexible. Visits can be made on weekdays, evenings, or weekends.
