Sutter Care at Home Roseville Hospice is looking to create a dedicated team of volunteers that would participate in our yearly Veteran events/activities. These events/activities include Stand Down (three day event that provides food, health screenings, and resources to homeless Vets), Veteran Benefits Panel, Wreaths Across America, Homeless Shelters, Memorial Day events, Hospice Veterans Day event, Carry the Load, and presentations at VFW/American Legion/other community veterans group/ churches/Senior centers
The first step to becoming a hospice volunteer is to contact our volunteer department. You will be asked to complete an application followed by an interview. You will then take the online hospice volunteer training followed by an in-person orientation.
Because hospice is regulated through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, volunteers must meet the following requirements:
