Description
Volunteer Opportunity – Weekly Food Rescue (Tuesdays, 9:00 AM)
Share My Meals is seeking volunteers to help recover surplus meals and deliver them to those in need. Each Tuesday at 9:00 AM, volunteers pick up meals from a corporate kitchen in Morristown and deliver them to a nonprofit in Morristown (~17-minute drive), including a quick stop to collect empty containers from the nonprofit before pickup.
Volunteers must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, a personal vehicle with insurance, and a smartphone for the tracking app. Volunteers should be comfortable lifting 20-30lbs.
Training and insulated bags are provided.
