About WhizAngel

WhizAngel is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Phoenix, Arizona. Our mission is to empower youth ages 10–21 from challenging environments, or those creating products that solve real-world problems, to turn their ideas into businesses. Through mentorship, product development, and launch support, all at no cost to them, we create ripple effects of impact: jobs, family uplift, community support, and future mentorship cycles.

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Volunteer Outreach Coordinator to help us cultivate youth entrepreneurs by reaching out to Arizona high schools and community colleges. This role is simple but highly impactful: you’ll be the first connection that helps young innovators discover WhizAngel.

Key Responsibilities

• Research contact information for high schools and community colleges across Arizona.
• Use provided email templates and attachments — no writing required.
• Send outreach emails using a dedicated WhizAngel email address.
• Track outreach progress (contacts found, emails sent).

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Comfortable researching school contacts online.
• Passion for youth empowerment and nonprofit work.

Time Commitment

• Flexible schedule, about 3–5 hours per week.
• This is a volunteer position.
