    Help Empower Women and Strengthen Communities at Juneteenth in the Streets!

    The Courageous Women Association (CWA) is seeking enthusiastic and dependable volunteers to support our participation at the AACSA 45th Annual Juneteenth in the Streets Celebration in San Jose, California.

    About Courageous Women Association:

    Courageous Women Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women, strengthening families, and creating pathways to healing, hope, and transformation. During this event, we will be sharing information about our programs, including The Courage House, while also offering inspirational resources and products that support our mission.

    Volunteer Responsibilities:

    • Assist with booth setup and breakdown
    • Welcome and engage community members
    • Distribute information about Courageous Women Association and The Courage House
    • Help maintain booth coverage throughout the event
    • Assist with sales of inspirational journals and gift baskets
    • Support team members during breaks
    • Represent CWA in a positive and professional manner

    Volunteer Shift Opportunities:

    • Setup Crew

    8:00 AM โ€“ 12:00 PM

    Help transport, organize, and set up our vendor booth before the event begins.

    • Event Support Team

    12:00 PM โ€“ 5:00 PM

    Assist with booth coverage, community outreach, visitor engagement, resource distribution, and product sales.

    • Cleanup Crew

    5:00 PM โ€“ 8:00 PM

    Help dismantle displays, pack materials, load supplies, and ensure a smooth closeout of the event.

    • Friendly and reliable individuals

    • Strong communicators who enjoy interacting with the public
    • Individuals who support women's empowerment and community development
    • No previous experience required

    Thank you for participating as a Business, Arts & Crafts Vendor in AACSA's 45th Annual Juneteenth in the Streets Celebration on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

    As we prepare for this exciting community event, please review the following important logistics and event information.

    Vendor Arrival & Setup

    • Vendor check-in and setup begins at 8:00 AM.
    • All vendors must be fully set up and ready prior to the start of the event.
    • All vehicles must be removed from festival grounds by 10:00 AM. This is required to ensure the safety of attendees and allow event operations to begin smoothly.
