Volunteer Artists Wanted to Turn Donated Flowers into Beautiful Art for Patients

Gentiva Hospice Tucson is seeking a creative and compassionate volunteer artists to help bring beauty and comfort to patients and families through a unique floral art initiative.

Each week, we receive dozens upon dozens of donated flowers that carry stories, love, and memories. We’re looking for volunteers Ages 18+ who can thoughtfully repurpose these blooms into pressed flower art, small arrangements, or other creative pieces that can be shared with our patients and their loved ones. This is a special opportunity to use your artistic talents to make a meaningful difference. We would love to transform simple flowers into lasting symbols of care, remembrance, and connection for patients and their families!

What You’ll Do:

• Transform donated flowers into artistic creations (pressed art, keepsakes, etc.)
• Help create a warm, comforting environment for hospice patients and families
• Share your creativity in a way that brings peace and joy to others!

Who You Are:

• A Volunteer over the age of 18 who is passionate about art and health.
• An artist or creative individual with a passion and knowledge for working with natural materials
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful of the hospice environment
• Able to pass a Background Check

Volunteering Perks:

• You can take home and share any art you create!
• We will provide and source all the art materials and tools you need!
• We have Coffee, Tea, Snacks, and a comfy, Air-Conditioned space to work, study, and make art in.
• You will be invited to every volunteer appreciation event we launch!
