Board Member for Eating Disorder Organization-Volunteer

The Multi-Service Eating Disorders Association (MEDA) is seeking board members located in New England for its next term.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about MEDA’s mission and purpose, is willing to commit time, effort and resources to these goals. Candidates must be passionate for MEDA's cause and possess qualities of dedication, integrity, honesty, and collegiality in stewarding the organization towards a common goal. Prior board experience is helpful but is not a requirement. Applicants must reside in the United States.

MEDA is seeking candidates with proficiency in the following areas: Accounting - Finance; and Non-Profit

Fundraising - Both Individual and Corporate Giving

Members of the MEDA Board serve a three-year term, which may be renewed for successive terms. Members are required to serve on at least one committee of the Board. Board meetings are generally held once a month, and committees meet at minimum quarterly. Minimum time commitment varies from 1-3 hours per week. Board Members are unpaid. MEDA's Board strives for 100% Board giving.
