    About Saidika Organization

    Saidika Organization is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities through gender equality, youth leadership, menstrual dignity, and climate-resilient livelihoods. We work with underserved communities in Kenya to create sustainable impact, and we are building a strong leadership team to guide our strategic growth.

    Role Overview

    We are seeking passionate, committed, and experienced individuals to join our Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a vital role in governance, strategy, and fundraising. This is an opportunity to contribute your expertise, shape organizational direction, and help expand our impact across communities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide strategic guidance and governance oversight for the organization.
    • Support fundraising, partnership development, and donor engagement.
    • Attend and actively participate in board meetings and key organizational initiatives.
    • Advocate for Saidika Organization and promote its mission and programs.
    • Contribute to the development of policies, risk management strategies, and long-term planning.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Commitment to Saidika Organization’s mission, vision, and values.
    • Professional experience in business, nonprofit management, finance, law, communications, or related fields is preferred.
    • Experience in fundraising, partnerships, or strategic planning is an advantage.
    • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to dedicate the required time and effort to board activities.

    Other Requirements

    • Must attend an orientation session.
    • Background check may be required.
    • Board members are expected to uphold ethical standards and demonstrate good judgment.
