Creative Emajinations is seeking a volunteer guitar instructor to lead a 2-hour, beginner-friendly guitar workshop for local community residents. This hands-on experience introduces participants to guitar strings, rhythm, and basic playing while building connection through music.
This opportunity is ideal for a musician who enjoys teaching, community engagement, and creating a welcoming, low-pressure learning environment.
What the Volunteer Will Do
- Lead a 2-hour group guitar session
- Teach basic guitar concepts (strings, strumming, simple chords or melodies)
- Support participants using shared and personal guitars
- Encourage collaboration, confidence, and creativity
- Help create a fun and inclusive community experience
Who We’re Looking For
- Guitar player (acoustic or electric) with basic teaching ability
- Comfortable working with beginners of all ages
- Patient, encouraging, and community-minded
- Prior teaching experience helpful but not required
