    Description

    Garden Guide

    CalBG’s volunteer educators are at the heart of our mission to increase awareness and appreciation of California native plants for visitors of all ages.

    California Botanic Garden offers various educational programs for people of all ages, including school programs (TK-6th), family-friendly events, tram tours, and guided tours for adults, scouts, colleges, day camps, etc. Our Garden Guides act as Garden docents and lead tours for these various educational programs.

    If you...

    • Find California native plants fascinating;
    • Enjoy sparking conversations on topics related to the natural world;
    • Like interacting and engaging with people of all ages and backgrounds;
    • And consider yourself a lifelong learner...

    Then we want to hear from you!

    Training will be provided.
