Have fun, de-stress, and feel like a kid again while making a positive and local impact for youth! Our In-School Mentoring Program pairs you with one elementary school student who you share common interests with.

Matches spend one-hour once per week together on school grounds doing non-academic activities such as playing sports, games, creating art or just hanging out at the playground. Our matches are paired for the duration, or remainder, of the academic school-year.

We are now accepting In-School Mentors for the 2026-27 school year starting in the Fall!

    Our Big Buddies are

    • Adults aged 18+, inclusive of male, female, trans, and gender diverse individuals.
    • Mentors who Little Buddies can talk to, learn from, and share experiences with.
    • Available 1 hour per week during school hours (weekdays between 10am and 3pm).

    Our Little Buddies are

    • Students grade 1 to 7 nominated by teachers, staff or by themselves.
    • Children who could use a bit of extra 1-on-1 attention, need to build confidence, or may have trouble connecting with peers.

    Locations:

Surrey, White Rock, Delta, Richmond, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, New Westminster, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby and Vancouver
