Teach ESL to Refugee Adults

Help us provide ESL instruction for our wonderful refugee clients. Volunteers are needed to provide English instruction for refugee adults and to assist the CCFW staff instructor with teaching ESL. Our volunteers team-teach, tutor, provide instructional assistance to students, or assist the instructors with student follow-ups and other class needs. Training and observation time is provided for volunteers who would like to serve with us. All materials and lesson plans are also provided. ESL instruction will take place at an apartment clubhouse near our Fort Worth campus. No teaching background required.

Shifts available - Monday - Thursday, 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

Volunteer requirements:

• Attend a Volunteer Orientation
• Complete volunteer paperwork and pass a background check
• Willing to serve at least three months with the opportunity to serve long term
• Able to commit two or more hours per week (same days and time each week)
