Adoption Counselor

Love Cats? Help Them Find Their Forever Homes!

Cat Rescue & Adoption Network (CRAN) is looking for volunteer Adoption Counselors to help match rescue cats with loving families.

As an Adoption Counselor, you'll review adoption applications, talk with potential adopters, work with foster volunteers, and help ensure every cat is placed in the home that's right for them. This role is one of the most rewarding ways to make a direct impact on the lives of cats in need.

This is a remote volunteer position requiring about 2–4 hours per week, with volunteers signing up for 4–5 days each month.

We're looking for volunteers who are:

• Compassionate and professional
• Comfortable talking with people and asking thoughtful questions
• Able to make fair, objective decisions in the best interest of the cats
• Passionate about animal welfare

Training is provided, so no previous adoption counseling experience is required—just a love for cats and a desire to help.
