Book Production Manager (Volunteer)

About Us:

At the United Black Family Scholarship Foundation, we’re committed to amplifying diverse voices through the Hundred Stories Project, collaborating with university partners to produce impactful books from our incarcerated authors. We’re looking for a Book Production Manager to oversee the production process, from manuscript to finished product. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in book production while supporting a meaningful cause! This position is a volunteer position with 6-15 hours per week, and salary is considered upon funding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate book production, managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Collaborate with authors, editors, and designers to ensure quality and consistency.
• Review drafts, layouts, and designs for accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Troubleshoot production challenges and provide creative solutions.
• Communicate with all project stakeholders, keeping them informed and on track.
