    Description

    As a Swim Program Greeter, you are the welcoming face families see when they arrive at the YWCA for the Easterseals adaptive swim program. Your role is to answer basic questions, and help direct participants to the pool or locker room area, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and supported. This program runs on the first Saturday and last Sunday of each month from 1:45-3:45pm at the YWCA in Worcester.

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Greet families and participants as they arrive at the facility.
      • Direct families to the pool, locker rooms, or waiting areas.
      • Answer basic questions about the program.
      • Assist new participants in navigating the building, especially those attending for the first time.
      • Communicate any concerns or needs to the swim program staff.

    Qualifications:

      • Friendly, approachable, and dependable.
      • Comfortable interacting with children and families.
      • Good communication skills.
      • Ability to stand or walk for short periods.
