    About the Global Africa Summit Toronto

    The Global Africa Summit (GAS) Toronto brings together business leaders, investors, policymakers, entrepreneurs, diaspora professionals, academic institutions, and ecosystem partners to advance trade, investment, innovation, and strategic collaboration between Africa and global markets.

    Organized by the Africa Investment Network (AIN) in collaboration with the Diversity Institute at Toronto Metropolitan University, the summit serves as a platform for dialogue, networking, partnership development, and ecosystem engagement. The summit will be held on July 30 at the Ted Rogers School of Management in Toronto, Canada. The summit will feature:

    • High-level panels and discussions
    • Networking and partnership opportunities
    • Business and investment engagement
    • Ecosystem and policy conversations

    Volunteer Opportunity

    AIN is seeking enthusiastic and professional volunteers to support the successful execution of the Global Africa Summit Toronto. The summit will be held on July 30 at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University.

    This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting an international summit while engaging with global leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, dignitaries, and ecosystem stakeholders.

    Volunteers may support:

    • Event setup and breakdown
    • Registration and attendee check-in
    • Guest services and attendee support
    • VIP, speaker, and dignitary ushering/support
    • Session and room coordination
    • Networking reception support
    • Directional assistance and crowd flow management
    • Supporting summit logistics and operations
    • Assisting the AIN team and event partners throughout the summit

    Who Should Apply?

    We welcome volunteers who are:

    • Professional, organized, and dependable
    • Friendly and comfortable engaging with diverse audiences
    • Interested in Africa-focused trade, investment, entrepreneurship, culture, or global engagement
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment
    • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team

    Prior event experience is helpful but not required.
