    Volunteers should have experience in NGO policy development, governance, compliance, or institutional capacity strengthening. Strong English writing skills, the ability to work remotely, and a commitment of 5–10 hours per week are preferred.

    Volunteer Opportunity: Institutional Policies Development Specialist

    Space of Hope Foundation for Human Rights (SOHF) is a registered non-profit organization based in Iraq working to promote human rights, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), protection, women's and youth empowerment, peacebuilding, and community resilience.

    We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer – Institutional Policies Development Specialist to help strengthen our organizational systems by developing a comprehensive set of institutional policies and procedures aligned with international NGO standards and best practices.

    Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Space of Hope Foundation for Human Rights (SOHF).

    Please complete all screening questions carefully and upload your most recent CV. If available, you are also encouraged to provide samples of organizational policies, procedures, governance documents, or other technical writing that demonstrate your experience.

    We are looking for volunteers with experience in organizational development, governance, compliance, or policy writing within NGOs, humanitarian organizations, or similar institutions.

    Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a brief online interview before selection.
