    Laws Saving Paws (LSP) works to create safer, more compassionate communities for our animals through education, advocacy, and prevention. Our podcast plays a key role in sharing stories, expert voices, and conversations that inspire action and awareness around our mission.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    We're seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to manage and grow our podcast’s presence on Facebook and Instagram. This internship is ideal for someone interested in digital marketing, communications, or nonprofit storytelling who wants hands-on experience building an engaged audience around meaningful content. This is a remote position, though we prefer to have someone based out of Tennessee.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage and schedule content for the podcast’s Facebook and Instagram accounts
    • Create visually engaging social media graphics using podcast clips, quotes, and themes
    • Write compelling post copy that reflects our mission, voice, and goals
    • Work with our team to develop and implement social media strategies to increase reach, engagement, and followers
    • Monitor performance and help identify what content resonates most with our audience

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

    • Strong written communication skills and an eye for visual storytelling
    • Familiarity with Facebook and Instagram best practices
    • Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Canva, or similar
    • Interest in nonprofits, advocacy, media, or social impact work
    • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
