Volunteer Delivery Driver (Angels Program)

Red Bird Angels are local volunteers who help move urgent help quickly and compassionately to neighbors in crisis.

Through our Red Bird Hope service, Angels may help deliver emergency food, critical medications, hygiene items, work shoes, pet food, supplies, or other urgent essentials to people who may not be able to reach traditional resources on their own.

Many of the neighbors we serve are seniors, disabled adults, people without stable housing, individuals without transportation, families in sudden hardship, or people who have just hit a crisis within the past 24 hours. Sometimes a simple delivery can prevent someone from going hungry, missing a critical medication, losing hope, or falling deeper into crisis.

This volunteer role is flexible. Angels can choose when they are available and which requests they are comfortable helping with. Some Angels provide local deliveries. You can choose your service area by county, city, or zip code. Alerts are sent out via SMS or email to notify Angels of request needs and when we need a delivery made.

We are looking for kind, dependable volunteers who believe people in crisis deserve dignity, patience, and practical help without judgment.

Red Bird Angels do not need special training to begin. You just need compassion, reliability, and a willingness to help a neighbor through a hard moment. Our online system is very easy to use.
