    Description

    Board of Directors Member – Emerging NYC Nonprofit

    Courage In Motion Inc. is an emerging 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in New York City, focused on community empowerment through youth development, workforce exposure, community support initiatives, and long-term affordable housing solutions. We are seeking dedicated and mission-aligned individuals to serve as

    • Demonstrate a commitment to community empowerment and social impact
    • Possess professional experience in a relevant field (nonprofit, business, finance, law, real estate, education, marketing, public policy, or operations)
    • Be reliable, ethical, and willing to contribute time, insight, and leadership
    • Have the ability to think strategically while supporting an emerging organization
    • Prior board experience is helpful but not required

    Time Commitment & Term

    • Estimated 6–10 hours per month
    • Initial term of 1–2 years, with the possibility of renewal
    • Meetings held virtually or in person (NYC-based meetings when applicable)
