We are building an IDA “Environmental Education Hub” (EE Hub) in rural Kapir sub county of Ngora District-Eastern Uganda in an effort to promote practical local and Contexualized adaptation strategies to local problems and challenges. The EE Hub shall also capitalize on AGRITECH Solutions coupled with Humanitarian and Community Based Tourism. The AGRITECH component by creating a physical and virtual space where agriculture meets technology and innovation; shall also support startups, researchers, rural farmers, and entrepreneurs by providing resources, training, and access to markets or data. In an effort to promote solidarity learning and exchange, IDA EE Hub shall operate in close collaboration with the Gulu communities in Northern Uganda.

IDA Vision is "A poverty free citizenry of Uganda" while the Mission is "To conserve and exploit local natural resources, cultural resources and the environment towards sustainable development". While IDA focus areas are: (1) Nutritional Food security, (2) Youth Employment, (3) Child Protection, (4) Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Agreement-Advocacy.
