Our work uplifts people across all ethnicities and identities, including Black, Brown, Afro‑Caribbean, Latinx, AAPI, Indigenous, Middle Eastern, multiracial, LGBTQIA+, gender‑expansive, and chronically ill communities. Through art, movement, nourishment, and advocacy, we create joyful, culturally grounded healing spaces.

We are seeking engaged, reliable Board Members who take governance seriously and want to help guide a growing nonprofit into its next phase of impact.

    • Support fundraising through personal giving at a meaningful level and/or leveraging networks and partnerships.
    • Review and approve budgets, policies, and long‑term organizational plans.
    • Act as an ambassador for Peach Corps—promoting our mission, programs, and values.
    • Uphold fiduciary duties: duty of care, duty of loyalty, and duty of obedience.
    • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a trauma‑informed, community‑centered approach.

    🌟 Qualifications

    • Passion for community wellness, chronic illness advocacy, gender‑affirming care, or arts‑based healing.
    • Experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, finance, law, healthcare, youth development, community organizing, marketing/communications, or operations.
    • Strong follow‑through, reliability, and willingness to actively participate.
    • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally grounded leadership.
    • Ability to collaborate respectfully with a small but growing team.
    • Lived experience with chronic illness or within any of the communities we serve is welcomed and valued, but not required.

    🌟 Time Commitment

    • 4 board meetings per year (1.5–2 hours each)
    • Committee participation (1–2 hours monthly)
    • Occasional support for events, fundraising, or strategic planning
    • Approx. 4–6 hours per month total
