This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, communicating with kindness, and supporting a mission that strengthens children and families.

As the first voice many callers hear, you'll help ensure that families, community members, and partners are greeted warmly and connected to the appropriate staff member. During quieter times, you'll assist with a variety of administrative tasks that help our team serve the community effectively.

    Responsibilities

      • Connect callers to the correct staff member or extension
      • Take and relay messages as needed
      • Scan and organize documents
      • Assemble informational packets and materials
      • Assist with filing and other administrative projects
      • Provide general office support to staff as needed

    What We're Looking For

      • Friendly, cheerful, and welcoming personality
      • Comfortable speaking with a variety of callers
      • Reliable and able to commit to one full business day per week
      • Organized and detail-oriented
      • Basic computer skills helpful but not required
      • Prior office or phone experience is a plus, but not required

    Volunteer Benefits

      • Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families
      • Gain nonprofit and administrative experience
      • Join a supportive and mission-driven team
      • Receive regular breaks throughout the day
      • Build valuable communication and office skills
