    Description

    Sussex County Support Group Facilitator

    Become a Volunteer Support Group Facilitator and provide much-needed support to caregivers!

    Alzheimer’s New Jersey(r) is looking to start a new Caregiver Support Group in Sussex County. We are looking for compassionate volunteers with good listening skills. Comprehensive understanding of dementia and a professional degree preferred (i.e. Social Work, Registered Nurse, etc.)

    Alzheimer’s New Jersey provides comprehensive training, materials, and ongoing support to all facilitators. Our Caregiver Support Groups are specifically for family/friends caring for a loved one with dementia, and we currently facilitate a total of 28 support groups throughout the state of New Jersey.
