    Description

The Nest Academy provides education to underprivileged youth in the East Charlotte area. The Nest Academy, is a small private school with a vision to change the lives of our students.

The Nest Academy was started by MC Hildreth in 2009 with five girls in a small donated space near uptown Charlotte. The Academy now has 70 students, K through 12th grades. The students are from The Congo, South Sudan, Guatemala, Burma, Uganda, Tanzania, the United States and many more.

If you are interested in working with students, but your schedule is not consistent from week to week, then this is the perfect opportunity for volunteers to work with students throughout the year when their schedule allows while filling a HUGE need at the school.
