    Description

    Volunteer Board Director

The PEAL Center is a statewide nonprofit that educates and empowers families and young people with disabilities and special health care needs from birth through age 26. Through training, individual assistance, resources, and community partnerships, we help families and young people navigate education and healthcare systems and advocate for meaningful inclusion.

We are recruiting engaged individuals to serve on our Board of Directors beginning in 2027. This is a remote volunteer role with quarterly board meetings, service on one committee, and a three-year term.

We welcome candidates who bring lived experience, professional expertise, community connections, and a commitment to disability inclusion and family leadership. Join us in guiding PEAL’s mission and strengthening our impact across Pennsylvania. Learn more and apply today!
