    Position Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

    Reports To: Chief Executive Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

    Location: Remote

    About the Company: Cherrie Give Resultz - HR consultant provides expert advice and services to businesses on various aspects of human resources management. We help companies optimize their HR functions, improve employee performance, and align HR strategies with overall business goals. Services range from generalist support to specialized areas like talent management, compensation, and benefits.

    Job Summary: A Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive who oversees a company's day-to-day operations, reporting directly to the CHRO. The COO's job is to implement the CEO's vision by managing daily activities across various departments, such as HR, IT, and finance, to ensure operational efficiency and productivity. Key responsibilities include developing and executing business strategies, monitoring performance metrics, optimizing processes, and leading and motivating staff.

    Core responsibilities

    Overseeing daily operations: Managing and coordinating the activities of multiple departments to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.

    Implementing strategy: Translating the CEO's long-term vision and high-level strategies into actionable plans and daily procedures.

    Performance and efficiency: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement to increase productivity and profitability.

    Resource management: Optimizing the use of company resources, including human capital, technology, and budgets.

    Cross-functional collaboration: Working with other executives and departments (like sales, marketing, and finance) to ensure alignment on goals.

    Leadership and culture: Leading and motivating teams, fostering a positive company culture, and setting policies that support the company's vision.

    Fundraising/Grant Support: Actively participate in funding proposals and manage grant compliance, reporting, and administration.

    Key duties

    • Developing and implementing business strategies, processes, and procedures.
    • Managing departmental performance and reporting results to the CEO and other stakeholders.
    • Managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, and clients.
    • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
