    Description

    KultureCity is seeking passionate and dependable teammates/volunteers to support sensory accessibility efforts during CMA Fest and 4th of July celebrations in downtown Nashville. Team members will help create an inclusive and welcoming environment for fans by assisting with sensory support services at the activation.

    Position Overview

    Team members will staff the Sensory Activation Vehicle (SAV) located outside on Broadway. The SAV setup will include a covered tent, table, and chairs, serving as a support space for fans needing sensory accommodations.

    This role is ideal for individuals who are compassionate, organized, energetic, and comfortable engaging with large crowds in a fast-paced event environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Welcome and assist fans utilizing sensory support services
    • Distribute sensory bags for fans to use
    • Support guests utilizing the sensory trailer and calming space as needed
    • Provide a positive, inclusive, and respectful experience for all guests
    • Capture and track event metrics including:
      • Number of SAV visits
      • Number of sensory bags distributed
      • Number of sensory support uses/interactions
    • Assist with collecting fan testimonials, photos, and stories when appropriate
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the SAV area throughout the shift

    Shift Details

    • Approximately 7-hour shifts per day
    • Team members must arrive:
      • 30 min prior to shift time

    Dates

    • CMA Fest
      • June 4-7 - 9:30-5:30
    • 4th of July
      • July 3-4 - 11-5

    Requirements

    • Completion of event credentialing process is required for all teammates/volunteers
    • Completion of KultureCity training prior to event participation (if not already completed)
    • Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Comfortable interacting with diverse guests and families
    • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in events, hospitality, accessibility, education, healthcare, or customer service
    • Passion for inclusion and sensory accessibility
    • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
