    Description

    Hospice Volunteer – Provide Compassionate Companionship

    Join our hospice team as a volunteer and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families facing end-of-life journeys. Hospice volunteers provide companionship, emotional support, and comfort to individuals experiencing life-limiting illness.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Friendly visits and conversation
    • Reading, music, or quiet presence
    • Caregiver respite support
    • Assisting with special projects or legacy activities
    • Optional office or bereavement support (if trained)

    No medical care is provided by volunteers.

    We’re looking for individuals who are:

    • Compassionate and dependable
    • Comfortable offering emotional support
    • Willing to complete hospice training and screening requirements

    Flexible scheduling available (typically 1–4 hours per week).

    This is a meaningful opportunity for students, retirees, professionals, and anyone seeking to serve their community with dignity and heart.
