A CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) Volunteer is a trained community member who is appointed by a judge to advocate for the best interests of children experiencing foster care. They get to know the child, gather information from those involved in the child’s life, and make recommendations to the court to help ensure the child is in a safe, stable, and supportive environment. CASA Volunteers are often the one constant in a child’s life during a time of uncertainty and change.
