Director of Material management

The Director of Material Management holds a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Founder, and engages in monthly virtual meetings with the Founder and Board Members. This leadership position entails the crucial responsibility of sourcing, obtaining, and ensuring the impeccable shipment of materials to our Headquarters and upcoming Chapters.

The Director is entitled to a tax deduction for shipping costs and related purchases. Upon acceptance, the appointed individual will be granted access to our Project Management Online Software Account through Wrike.

Efficiency is paramount when handling material requests from volunteers, and the Director is expected to prioritize eco-friendly practices. A genuine commitment to our cause is imperative, alongside traits of kindness, nicety, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Materials to be managed include but are not limited to yarn (acrylic, cotton, nylon, and/or polyester), fabric, and other items specified in the March of the Blanketeers Wishlist. The Director will oversee the shipping and collection processes, ensuring the materials reach their destination in optimal condition.
