The Social Work Ladies Collective, Inc. (SWLC) is seeking a passionate, organized, and motivated Program & Outreach Coordinator Intern to join our team for Fall 2026 – Spring 2027.

This hybrid internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership, program coordination, community outreach, event planning, communications, marketing, and organizational development. The intern will work closely with the Founder & Executive Director and SWLC Leadership Team to help plan, coordinate, and implement programs that support social workers, mental health professionals, and helping professionals.
This opportunity is ideal for students interested in social work, human services, psychology, public health, communications, marketing, business, education, event planning, nonprofit management, or related fields.
Responsibilities
As a Program & Outreach Coordinator Intern, you will:
- Assist with planning, coordination, and implementation of SWLC programs and events
- Support event logistics, registration, communications, and day-of event coordination
- Help coordinate Fall 2026 signature events, including:
- Community Wellness Walk (September 26)
- Fall Networking Mixer (October 24)
- Fall Wellness Fest (November 14)
- Holiday Social (December)
- Support Spring 2027 programming and initiatives
- Create and schedule social media content for Instagram and TikTok
- Assist with email campaigns, newsletters, and community communications
- Support outreach to students, social workers, helping professionals, and community partners
- Conduct research related to partnerships, sponsorships, programming, and organizational growth
- Participate in leadership meetings, planning sessions, and professional development opportunities
- Support additional projects as assigned
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
- Organized, dependable, and proactive
- A strong written and verbal communicator
- Interested in nonprofit work, community engagement, wellness, and social impact
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Creative, resourceful, and eager to contribute ideas

Time Commitment
- September 2026 – May 2027
- 10–15 hours per week
- Hybrid (primarily remote with required in-person attendance for SWLC signature events and occasional meetings)
- Flexible scheduling based on academic commitments and program needs
