Description
The SDG Representative role serves as the foundation of our leadership structure and provides an opportunity to gain experience, demonstrate commitment, and build a record of SDG-related activities within your community. Representatives work directly with IPC leadership and contribute to awareness campaigns, community outreach, volunteer engagement, educational initiatives, and local SDG action projects.
As an SDG Representative, you will receive:
- Official appointment within the IPC Global SDG Leadership Network.
- IPC Membership Fee Waiver for one (1) year.
- Eligibility for an additional one-year membership waiver upon successful completion of assigned responsibilities and active participation.
- Access to IPC global activities, campaigns, and networking opportunities.
- Eligibility for training, certificates, recognition awards, and future leadership advancement opportunities.
- Consideration for promotion to SDG Team Leader, SDG Commissioner, or SDG Ambassador based on performance, leadership capacity, and documented achievements.
Key expectations include:
- Supporting at least one SDG-related activity or initiative each month.
- Promoting awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals within your community.
- Assisting with volunteer recruitment and community engagement.
- Submitting brief activity reports when requested.
- Upholding the values and mission of the International Peace Commission.
