Description
Girls in the Know is seeking registered dieticians, licensed dieticians or Certified Clinical Nutritionists to volunteer as workshop facilitators for our in-school Empowerment Workshop Series. Volunteers lead age-appropriate, confidence-building sessions for girls ages 9–13 during the school day.
Role Overview
- Facilitate 60–90 minute workshops inside elementary/middle schools
- Topics include body image, emotional well-being, nutrition, and exercise
- Deliver content using a provided, easy-to-follow curriculum
- Create a supportive, engaging environment for pre-teen girls
Qualifications
- RD / LD / or CCN
- Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
- Comfortable presenting to small groups
- Available during school hours (weekday daytime)
