    Description

Many patients have no family nearby or would simply enjoy a kind conversation, a listening ear, or someone to sit quietly with them.

No medical experience is needed. We provide all training and support. Just bring your compassion, kindness, and willingness to make a meaningful difference.

As a hospice companion volunteer, you may:

    • Visit with patients and share a conversation
    • Read aloud from a favorite book or newspaper
    • Listen to life stories and treasured memories
    • Sit quietly to provide comfort and companionship
    • Offer a calming presence during a patient's final journey

Our office is located at 9415 E. Harry St., Suite 703, Wichita, KS 67207, and we serve patients within approximately a 60-mile radius of Wichita.

If you have a caring heart and a few hours to share each month, we would love to meet you.

📞 Call 316-558-5956 to learn more or stop by our office Monday through Friday between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to complete a volunteer application.
