    Description

    Hospice Volunteers work in their own community and at their own schedule. Non-medical volunteers invest their talents and skills to improve the lives of our patients, their families, and our staff.

    Volunteers are able to:

    • Visit patients at home or in a community setting

    • Provide caregiver relief

    • Make phone calls to check on patients and caregivers

    • Administratively assist

    • Provide emotional, spiritual, and bereavement support

    • Share time with a veteran

    • ANGEL - Alliance of neighbors giving end-of-life support
