    Description

    Join Meals on Wheels West as an Operations Volunteer to help us with our day-to-day setup, packing and distributing of nutritious meal kits. Operations Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring every client receives their meals safely and on time.

    📅 When:

    Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    🧺 What You’ll Do:

    • Pack fruit and supplemental food for daily deliveries
    • Set up canopy and tables for distribution
    • Load and unload delivery bags upon van's arrival
    • Assist delivery drivers with meal bags
    • Clean and organize returned delivery bags

    Requirements:

    • All volunteers undergo a mandatory background check prior to volunteering
    • Must be able to stand and work for 5 hours
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
    • Must wear closed toe shoes
