Volunteer for Day Program serving young adults with special needs in Oviedo, Florida

mapLe22 was created to provide young adults with special needs a next step into community as they age out of school. Our ministry is to connect with community for "good", serving others and having fun together!

We are seeking reliable, caring volunteers with a heart to serve to join our mapLe22 Team! Our "Team" consists of hired staff + valuable volunteers. We work together with our participants to engage in meaningful activities and purposeful work, all while serving our incredible community in Oviedo and beyond.

This is a hands-on, joy-filled role, supporting our amazing young adults with special needs as we do life together.

• Availability Monday- Friday, 9:15a–3:30p, One or more days a week. Full days are desired however 1/2 days are possible.

Some experience with this population is desired but not necessarily required. If you have a desire to connect with the population we serve, we want to meet you!

Our current team includes former teachers and behavior therapists, parents and family members of individuals with special needs, students in related fields, and people who simply feel called to this work.
