Membership Coordinator Board Member

The Friends of San Pedro Valley Park is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization (a 501(c)(3) public benefit corporation) founded in 1983 that is funded 100% by membership dues, donations and sales proceeds. The Board of Directors oversees and manages the funding, scheduling, and strategy for the events and support activities provided for the benefit of park visitors by the volunteers and members of the Friends of San Pedro Valley Park organization. Board member duties include:

• Updates and maintains current membership information: name(s), street and email address, telephone number, and membership expiration date in electronic database
• Analyzes membership trends and data to identify opportunities for growth
• Prepares regular membership reports for dissemination to Board at monthly meetings: number of members, total of dues received for the month – new and renewed memberships and whether paid by check, cash or through Square.
• Collaborates with other Board members to enhance member offerings and benefits
• Plans and coordinates membership events and activities
• Deposits membership dues checks in a timely manner; records cash payments and reviews FSPVP Square account for credit card payments
• Generates membership renewal notices and issues membership cards
• Emails bi-monthly FSPVP “Valley Views” newsletter to members
