Volunteer Puppy Raiser for Paragon Service Dogs

Anyone who is passionate about the human-dog bond can learn best practices for strengthening this bond by volunteering for Paragon Service Dogs - we will teach you to raise a confident, well-socialized, reliable future service dog. No previous experience required. Just bring your interest in learning and love of dogs.

As a Paragon Puppy Raiser, you'll care for a puppy in your home from about 8 weeks of age to 1 year old. We'll provide all the food and equipment you'll need and teach you everything you'll need to know. We'll teach you how to train basic commands and good house manners. As part of the pup's training, you'll take him or her out with you in public to help the pup be confident in all kinds of settings such as grocery stores, parks, restaurants and more.

You'll become part of our community of volunteers. We are a fun, positive, and supportive group.
