    Description

IMPACT Community Action Partnership is seeking reliable volunteers to support our Monday morning food rescue efforts by serving as box truck drivers. Volunteers will pick up our box truck from the Ankeny pantry, travel to our food rescue locations in Windsor Heights to collect donated food rescue items, use a pallet jack to load and unload donations, deliver them to our Drake Neighborhood pantry, and return the truck to Ankeny. We are looking for one primary driver as well as several backup drivers who can assist with last-minute needs or fill in when others are unavailable. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license, experience driving a large truck or box truck, and feel comfortable operating a pallet jack and handling heavier items. This role plays a vital part in ensuring rescued food reaches families in our community.
