    About the Role

    As a Recruiter, you will work closely with the Admin & People Team and leadership to identify, engage, and place qualified candidates across the organization. You will use sourcing tools, outreach methods, and professional networks to connect with individuals who align with R.O.Y.O’s mission and values.

    What You’ll Do

    • Review and refine job descriptions to ensure clarity and alignment
    • Source and engage potential candidates through outreach and platforms
    • Screen applicants and conduct initial interviews
    • Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communication
    • Support onboarding and smooth transition of new volunteers
    • Maintain recruitment logs and basic reporting
    • Collaborate with leadership on hiring needs and strategies
    • Assist with general HR and administrative tasks as needed

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to source and engage candidates effectively
    • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
    • Comfortable using Google Suite and recruitment tools
    • Interest in nonprofit work and community impact
    • Professional, respectful, and collaborative approach
    • Ability to manage time and multiple tasks
