    Web Developer (CMS Specialist)

    Overview

    The Web Developer (CMS Specialist) plays a vital role in supporting the mission of the Kiona Foundation. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking work in pediatric cancer research, family support, and community engagement. Volunteers in this role will work closely with a passionate and committed team to advance the Foundation’s strategic priorities.

    Time Commitment

    Expected commitment is 5-10 hrs/week, with flexibility based on availability and project needs. This is a remote volunteer position unless otherwise specified.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain the Kiona Foundation’s website in Webflow, WordPress, or Framer, incorporating accessibility, mobile optimization, and SEO best practices.

    • Integrate donation processing (Givebutter), newsletter signups, appointment booking, blog CMS, and embedded YouTube content.

    • Collaborate with graphic design and content teams to bring UX/UI mockups to life using existing visual style guides.

    • Perform routine technical updates, backups, and page performance optimizations.

    Desired Skills & Qualifications

    Webflow, WordPress, Framer, coding. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, mission-aligned, and capable of working independently in a collaborative, virtual environment.
