Thrift Store Volunteer - Laguna Hills

Upscale Resale is a thrift store that benefits South County Outreach clients facing food insecurity and homelessness throughout Orange County. Upscale Resale is supported by volunteers. The shop sells a variety of new, gently used and vintage items, including clothing and accessories, jewelry, home décor, furniture, toys, and more.

Responsibilities:

Thrift store volunteers help with pricing, sorting, and stocking donated items. We are currently looking for individuals willing to be trained to be cashiers for the store.

Time Commitment: We are looking for weekly, ongoing volunteers that can commit to one shift each week (3 - 4 hours). The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10am – 5pm and Sunday 11am – 4pm. Shifts can start as early as 9:30am and the last shift ends at 5:30pm.

We’re in need of cashier volunteers on Sunday from 11am – 4pm.

Requirements: Must complete and pass a background check. Merchandising and retail display experience is a plus! Training will be provided.
