Health Together (formerly Maternal and Infant Health Canada) is a Vancouver-based global public health organization working from the unceded lands of the Coast Salish Nations. We are a team of health professionals, researchers, and advocates who believe that human health and the health of our planet are inseparable.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fundraising Team Lead to support the organizations fundraising initiatives that drive funding and expand donor engagement. As a part of the fundraising team, you will help implement campaigns, strengthen donor relationships, and support the growth of healthcare and educational programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the cultivation and establish long-term relationships with donors and foundations.
    • Source and evaluate prospective donors to achieve financially sustainability.
    • Assist in executing fundraising initiatives to support donor growth goals.
    • Contribute to the implementation of multi-channel fundraising campaigns (digital giving, events, direct outreach, and major donor engagement).
    • Help maintain donor databases and track fundraising activity and performance metrics.
    • Support coordination of fundraising tasks and campaign timelines.
    • Assist in documenting processes to improve long-term efficiency and scalability.
    • Collaborate with other teams to align fundraising efforts with organizational goals.
    • Lead, mentor, and support fundraising team members.

    What you bring:

    • Experience: 2 years in NGO fundraising, with a proven ability to lead fundraising initiatives, build donor relationships, and secure donors.
    • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, or related degree.
    • Proven success managing multi-channel fundraising campaigns that include direct mail, email appeals, digital giving days, and crowdfunding.
    • Communication: Strong copywriting, pitch deck creation, and storytelling skills that translate organizational mission into tangible and financial support.
    • Digital Marketing: Experience with social media and digital marketing platforms.
    • Purpose-Driven: Passion for the mission with the proven ability to engage, inspire, and cultivate new sponsors and partnerships to secure sustainable funding.

    What We Offer:

    • A collaborative and supportive team with access to research, coordination, and content resources.
    • Creative freedom to develop and communicate ideas in your authentic voice.
    • A fully remote and flexible work environment.
    • The opportunity to contribute to a meaningful global initiative reaching health professionals, researchers, advocates, and curious minds worldwide.
    • Reference letter available upon completing 1 year.

To Apply: Submit a concise proposal (300 words or less) outlining a real fundraising effort grounded in a cause you have personally engaged with.

    • In your answer include why this cause matters to you personally, a specific strategy you would use that reflects your own networks or experiences, one example of messaging you would write to donors (2-3 sentences), and a reflection on what you think would not work, based on your understanding.
