Description
About The Solarpunk Sanctuary
The Solarpunk Sanctuary is a reimagined sanctuary and open-source hub dedicated to:
- People: Nurturing individual agency, resilience, and free inquiry.
- Care: Building practical mutual aid and community safety nets.
- Planet: Seeding earth stewardship, permaculture, and low-tech infrastructure.
We are a non-hierarchical, legally structured church entity built to protect and freely share practical self-reliance tools. (Read our full ethos and vision at [The Solarpunk Sanctuary]).
The Vibe
You are constructing our digital registry. Think Dudeism or Universal Life Church, but centered on solarpunk ethics, mutual aid, and earth stewardship. We need a frictionless, automated pipeline where someone reads our ethos, signs the basic agreement, and receives their customized PDF Ordination Certificate directly in their inbox- with zero daily administrative overhead on our end. This function helps support our essential, non-hierarchical emphasis.
What You'll Do
- Build the Web Form: Create a clean, privacy-focused signup form to collect basic member/minister information on our site.
- Automate Certificate Generation: Set up a lightweight script or workflow that dynamically populates a custom, printable PDF Ordination Certificate & Ethos Agreement.
- Configure Email Delivery: Connect a reliable, low-cost/free-tier transactional email delivery system to automatically mail the generated PDF to the new member.
- Ensure Privacy & Security: Keep data collection minimal, secure, and easy to manage or export.
Who You Are
- A web developer, systems integrator, or automation specialist (comfortable with HTML/JS, serverless functions, Python scripts, or low-code tools like n8n/Make).
- Someone who appreciates low-maintenance, privacy-first web architecture.
- Looking for a discrete, project-based sprint with a very clear "definition of done."
