Volunteer Grant Writer for Faeryland's Farm

Faeryland's Farm is a magical haven for animals and a sanctuary for the soul. As a National Wildlife Habitat, we dedicate ourselves to rescuing and rehabilitating animals, with a special affinity for our beloved goats. Additionally, we run transformative education and therapy programs that harness the unique bond between humans and animals to bring joy, healing, and learning to our community.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Grant Writer to join our vibrant volunteer team. This position is ideal for someone who loves animals, appreciates the beauty of nature, and wants to make a tangible impact through their writing prowess.

**Responsibilities:**

- **Research**: Identify and research potential grant opportunities that align with Faeryland's Farm's mission and programs.

- **Grant Writing**: Craft compelling, clear, and cohesive grant proposals, inclusive of narratives, budgets, and required documentation.

- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the Farm management and program coordinators to gather pertinent information and ensure accuracy in grant proposals.

- **Reporting**: Prepare and submit detailed reports as required by funders, maintaining transparency and accountability.

- **Development Strategy**: Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to broaden our grant portfolio.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience in grant writing, preferably in the nonprofit sector.

- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.

- Ability to understand and convey the unique mission and programs of Faeryland's Farm.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

- Passion for animal welfare, education, and therapeutic programs.

- Knowledge of potential grant funders in the animal welfare, education, and therapeutic sectors is a plus.
