    Description

    LACASA On-Call Volunteer

    What is On-Call?

    Our specially trained On-Call volunteers assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault by providing immediate intervention, support and available resources by phone or -in person on weekday evenings and weekends. Volunteers assist with advocacy during medical exams, including:

    • SANE exams (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner)
    • Strangulation exams

    Services are available at Trinity Health in Brighton and at LACASA

    Training is provided with ongoing support. If you have a desire to interact compassionately with victims and to make a real difference during someone's darkest moments this volunteer position offers that opportunity.
